As unlikely as it sounds, heavy snow snow fell in Southeastern Arizona yesterday and today. Driving from Tucson to Bisbee yesterday afternoon, I encountered whiteout conditions on I-10 and on parts of AZ-80 south of Benson. Bisbee, located about 5 miles from the Mexican border, reportedly got 8 inches.
