I worked as a grouchy locomotive engineer and sometimes as a miserable conductor for Pacific Harbor Line, which is a terminal railroad serving the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. In general I had a good experience there, learned a lot, met and worked with good railroaders from all over.
