I just finished conducting a three-week Switchman/Brakeman New Hire class in Grand Junction, Colorado this past Saturday. Seventeen more railroaders headed out on the property this coming week, ready for OJT. A fine group, and I had a great time out there. Spent a late afternoon in the desert between Grand Junction and Delta. As an Easterner I’m still getting used to having so much open BLM land to explore, and being able to just pull off and go for a walk and see what’s there.
